Session IPA is a variety of the English style India Pale Ale. It all began in the period of WWI, when in England workers were allowed to drink a pint of beer every 4 hours and that was called a «session», thus the name – Session Ales. The beer had to be low on alcohol to ensure that workers did not get drunk but at the same time maintaining its rich taste. This is how Session IPA appeared – easy to drink, refreshing, full of taste and hop aroma. Litra Session IPA is made by using 7 hop varieties from US, UK, Germany and New Zealand that make the beer fresh and full of citrus, passion fruit, lechee and mango. Six German malt varieties balance the beer's sweetnes with the bitternes of the nobel hops making the beer easy to drink during the hot summer days.
